Billionaire Twitter owner Elon Musk chastised the Biden administration Wednesday morning for claiming that "LGBTQI+" youth are "all our kids."

Musk was responding to a video shared by the White House's official Twitter account Tuesday night.

"These are our kids. These are our neighbors. Not somebody else's kids, they're all our kids," President Joe Biden can be heard saying in the video. "LGBTQ Americans, especially children, you are loved. You are heard. And this administration has your back."

You are the government," Musk replied in a tweet. "They are NOT your kids."

The video echoes remarks shared by Biden at a Pride Month celebration held at the White House over the weekend. At the event which featured transgender activists and survivors of various gay nightclub shootings, Biden called members of the LGBTQ+ community "some of the bravest and most inspiring people" he has "ever known."

The Biden administration is currently facing backlash due to several transgender activists electing to go topless during the event. In a video shared by transgender activist and TikTok influencer Rose Montoya, several individuals can be seen exposing their chests on the White House lawn.

"Are we topless at the White House?" one voice can be heard asking in the video.

Montoya can also be seen speaking with both Biden and his wife, First Lady Jill Biden, in the video that has received more than 100,000 views.

Many have criticized Montoya's video online, calling the display of nudity "disgraceful." However, others who have commented directly on the video have called the actions "amazing" and "inspirational."

At a press briefing Tuesday, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre called the actions displayed in the video "simply unacceptable."

“It was unfair to the hundreds of attendees who were there to celebrate their families," Jean-Pierre told reporters Tuesday. "It’s inappropriate, it’s disrespectful, and it really does not reflect the event that we hosted to celebrate the LGBTQ+ families.”

The National Desk (TND) reached out to the White House for comment on Musk's remarks, but did not receive a response prior to publication. This story will be updated if a response is received.
